2026 Reading List
Two years ago, I started keeping track of the few books I had read and books recommended to me.
I love to keep track of things, but I will say that this has become one of my favorite things to track.
It’s becoming a game!
One of the last books I read was The Gap and the Gain and I caught myself in the gap just thinking about this post.
My first thought was, “Man, I only read 17 books this year. That doesn’t seem like very many at all.”
I realized I was in the gap (IYKYK) so I looked for the gain: “Won’t you look at that. I read 4 more books this year than I did last year!”
Not to mention that one of those books was the whole Bible and I’d never done that before…so it’s kind of a big deal.
It really doesn’t take much to flip things around and see any small thing as a win and I’m learning to appreciate what a difference a small shift in perspective can make.
Plus, my brain (and body) is appreciating the stress of the daily news being turned off and nourishing input being taken in instead. It’s making a huge difference.
Let me know if you have a good book you think I’d like and I’ll add it to my list!
Happy Reading!
