TBCo Kids Camp
2021 Aubyn's First TBCo Camp
5 years.
5 years of loading up on the bus and heading to East Tennessee.
Aubyn’s first year?
She knew no one, but was fearless and excited for the adventure.
This year?
Seatmates were chosen in advance and her cabin was full of some of her favorite people…including her cousin!
It was at one of our first visits to TBCo that they showed a video and announced early registration for Kids Camp was open…I’m pretty sure we registered Aubyn before service was even over.
We didn’t know anyone…yet…but we knew this church was special and that this camp was one she shouldn’t miss.
We were hoping we weren’t wrong and that we were making the right decision.
It was absolutely the right decision!
The experiences both of my girls have had at TBCo Kids Camp have been wonderful, but especially so for Aubyn.
She embraced all camp had to offer.
She came home two summers ago ready and asking to be baptized.
She witnessed healings…multiple times.
Her faith expanded with each trip.
She watched young adults she admires (and who are way cooler than me or her dad) speaking unabashedly of their love of Jesus and the power He has in their lives.
No summer is complete nowadays without TBCo camp.
It’s something we literally plan our summers around.
In fact, the past two road trips were specifically rushed so that we’d be back in time for The Bigs to go to camp.
It’s hard to believe that this is Aubyn’s last year at Kids Camp and that five years passed so quickly.
Fortunately though, this is not her last year of The Belonging Co’s camp nor ours.
Next year, Aubyn moves up to Youth Camp and the littles, well, they are more than ready to take Aubyn’s place and join Embry in all the excitement that waits for them in the mountains of East Tennessee!
I pray this camp continues to shape my childrens’ hearts to love God whole heartedly and to seek the joy that comes from worshiping Him. It is a special time with incredible leaders and I am so grateful for the way they love and lead our kids.
This last batch of photos are all from the amazing photo team at TBCo. They capture some of the most amazing moments and I love seeing my girls pop up on their feed (@tbcokids), getting a glimpse into the fun and sacred moments they’re experiencing at camp.
